Integrated spirit-level function

H Leica DISTO™ D3a offers with a measuring accuracy of ± 1,0 mm high precision at the touch of a button. With a Leica DISTO™ D3a you can measure distances easy and absolute precise even if there are obstructions in the way - and identifying tilts is a child´s play. On the illuminated big display all measuring results and additional information will be displayed well arranged and well readable. The robust housing is protected against spray water and dust. And at the same time the softgrip provides secure hold.

Smart Horizontal Mode™

Thanks to the combination of distance and tilt measurements horizontal distances can be determined easy and precise. If you accomplish a measurement with a tilt of ± 45°, the Leica DISTO™ D3a will automatically calculate the shortest. This is particularly useful when there are obstructions, e.g. walls directly between you and the target point.

At the touch of a button, distance and tilt are measured simultaneously. Additional results such as height, etc. are also displayed. In contrary to the old DISTO™ D3 this revolutionary and unique measuring combination between tilt and distance (Smart Horizontal Mode™) is placed on a special key and is active all the time.

Multiplicity of functions

The Leica DISTO™ D3a also calculates areas of rectangles or triangles or volumes, makes room calculations and has different kinds of pythagorean functions integrated. The timer function and a historical storage for up to 20 values complete the multifunctionality –a concept, that eases your daily work.

Power Range Technology™

The integrated Power Range Technology™ enables you to measure long distances very easy. You can measure without target plate up to 80 m, with a target plate even up to 100 m - without taking a step.

Detail Display

At the touch of one button additional information are available on the illuminated 4-line display such as e.g. room calculations or room angles.
