The 590 is a general purpose moisture meter that is an appropriate instrument for a wide range of use in measuring and surveying. It measures the humidity content on the surface as well as the inside of the material. Thus, the type of humidity can be viewed.
All materials have their own hygroscopic value and with conventional instruments it is not possible to establish the humidity of a material conclusively. The 590 can display the extension of humidity, saturation and a superficial humidity.
Supplied with a carrying case, 2 replacement electrode pins and a battery.
3 LED show the humidity of the material
Green: LO air, dry conditions
Yellow: MID slighty in excess of normal
Red: HI excess moisture
